Import personal DRM-free music files directly from your device storage or cloud providers for 100% offline playback with no subscription.

1. Open SoftMusic and navigate to the Playlists tab.
2. Tap the Import button in the Playlists catalog toolbar (or tap + inside any custom playlist).
3. The system Files picker will open. Navigate to On My iPhone / iPad, iCloud Drive, or connected cloud drives like Google Drive or Dropbox.
4. Select your audio files (MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, WAV) or choose an entire music folder.
5. The tracks are imported immediately into your library and can be played anytime without an internet connection.

Save tracks directly to your device so you can listen anywhere without an active internet connection or data usage. SoftMusic provides two convenient ways to download:

Option 1: Download Directly from the Full Player

1. Tap the mini-player while any song is playing to open the Full Player.
2. Look at the bottom control bar (next to the shuffle, loop, and queue buttons) and tap the Download icon (arrow pointing into a tray).
3. Confirm the prompt to download the track for offline listening.
4. Once downloaded, the icon switches to a filled badge to confirm the file is safely stored on your device.

Option 2: Download from any Track List or Search Results

1. Browse or search for songs in any free streaming section or playlist.
2. Tap the ••• (more options) button on the right side of the track row.
3. Tap Download.

Accessing Your Downloaded Tracks

To view and play all your offline music, go to Playlists > Downloaded Songs, or switch the active streaming provider to Local Files.

Personalize the visual look, accent colors, and layout of SoftMusic to match your taste.

1. Go to the Settings tab.
2. Tap Themes & Appearance.
3. Choose your theme: Dark Mode, Light Mode, or System Default.
4. Pick an Accent Color (Blue, Vivid Purple, Sunset Orange, Mint Green, Pink, and more) to customize buttons, sliders, and highlights.
5. Toggle Dynamic Artwork Blur to have the full-screen player reflect the vibrant colors of the album cover.
6. Under Customize Home, choose which sections appear on your Home feed (e.g. Recently Played Artists, Trending, Audiobooks, Radio) and drag to reorder them.
7. Adjust Thumbnail Size between Compact, Standard, and Large for your preferred density.

SoftMusic connects multiple music ecosystems into one unified interface.

1. In the Search or Discover tab, tap the Provider / Source selector pill at the top.
2. Select any streaming backend:
   • Free Music: Stream thousands of royalty-free, legal tracks with no subscription.
   • YouTube Music: Search and stream music with embedded player support and Picture-in-Picture background playback.
   • Apple Music: Browse the Apple Music catalog and play your iCloud library.
   • Spotify: Connect your Spotify account to sync your playlists.
   • Internet Radio: Stream thousands of worldwide stations by genre or country powered by RadioBrowser.
   • Audiobooks & Podcasts: Listen to LibriVox and Open Library audiobooks and podcasts.
   • Local Files: Play all your imported and downloaded songs.
3. To log into or manage linked accounts (Apple Music / Spotify), navigate to Settings > Streaming Backends.

1. In-App Support: Open Settings, scroll down to About & Feedback, and tap Report an Issue.

3. When submitting a report, please include:
   • Your iOS / iPadOS version and device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18).
   • The backend or feature in use (e.g. YouTube playback, Local Import, CarPlay, Bluetooth).
   • A brief description of what happened and steps to reproduce it.

Tailor your acoustics or turn any playlist into a continuous DJ set with real-time audio effects.

1. Tap the mini player while a song is playing to expand the Full Player.
2. Tap the Equalizer icon (or go to Settings > Equalizer).
3. Adjust the 7 frequency sliders (from deep 60Hz sub-bass to 16kHz highs) or choose a preset such as Bass Boost, Vocal Clear, Rock, or Electronic.
4. To activate DJ transitions, tap DJ Setup:
   • Crossfade: Automatically fades tracks smoothly into one another (set between 1s and 12s).
   • Reverb & Echo: Add spatial room acoustics and dub-style delays.
   • Beat Overlays: Layer subtle ambient rhythms or vinyl crackle over your tracks.

Enjoy music on the go with seamless companion experiences.

• Apple Watch: Install the SoftMusic companion app via the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Use it to control playback, skip tracks, adjust volume with the Digital Crown, and browse your recent tracks and playlists directly on your wrist.
• CarPlay: Plug your iPhone into your CarPlay-compatible vehicle or connect wirelessly. SoftMusic displays large, safe controls on your vehicle dashboard for hands-free navigation across your Recents, Playlists, and Radio stations.
• Background Playback: Audio continues uninterrupted when your screen locks or when switching apps. YouTube video streams automatically enter Picture-in-Picture (PiP).
